Lauren Winstead, from Henrico, body has been found yesterday, June 1, 2021 around 1:00pm. Fire crews found her body floating in the James River near the Powhite Pwky bridge, five miles down the river from the Bosher's Dam. The search continues for Sarah Erway (28), from Chesterfield County; officials are now classifying the search as a recovery mission.
Water Rescue Teams from all over local Richmond (Henrico, Richmond, Hanover, Goochland, and Chesterfield Fire) have spent over 48 hours looking for the missing victims. Officials does not believe Sarah Erway is stuck at the foot of the dam. They will continue their search today, making today the fourth day of searching.
