Richmond Women In a Wheelchair Killed On Broad St.

On Tuesday May 31, a female in a wheelchair was struck and killed at 17th Street & Broad Street. According to Police the female was on a motorized wheelchair when she was hit and killed by a moving vehicle. Police stated the driver did stay on the scene and received the call around 7:15pm. Neighbors who knew the female said "she was a very nice women." and "I treated her like a mother." The female succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital.
